Northfield Big Mon Custom Black Top F-Style Mandolin With Case

This mandolin is consistently one of the very best, if not THE very best, new mandolins we’ve ever played!  This one has a special grade spruce top and very nicely flamed two piece back, and 1 1/8” standard nut width!  Gorgeous black top finish adds incredible contrast to the appearance!

 The Northfield “Big Mon” mandolin is at first glance just a gorgeous example of a traditional F-Style mandolin.  But a closer look uncovers extra refinement and quality, and a tape measure will even reveal that this mandolin has a slightly larger body which results in volume, tone, and richness galore!  It rattles your skull when you play it!

All materials are from North America, seasoned and matched in Northfield’s Marshall, MI. Assembled and varnished in the Qingdao shop, then set up and final inspection in Marshall, MI.
